hospital cafeteria! strange, i know, but this is where our family
ate every weekend (when the big kids could come visit) for two
months.......................................................so now it's tradition!
at least until the twins are old enough to insist on something else.
footlong corndogs are a favorite-good thing it's only once a year
3 years ago life flight took these two down this hallway to the
elevator to be taken up to the NICU...their home for 2 months.
at that time they were clinging to life with too many tubes
hooked up to them to count. santa came to visit them that night.
i came two days later and cried. no tears tonight though!

oh, after being at u. v. hospital last night, i looked into the window of the door to the nicu and saw lots of little babies, it brought back sooo many feelings of gratitude for those little ones, i just want to hold them.
that is so sweet you go there for their birthday...having your babies in the nicu sounds so awful. i'm so glad that's all over and they're healthy and as adorable as can be!!
