brighton is so proud of herself...she now decides what she wears
every day (she can barely talk, how can she have such an opinion
on her clothes?) this day she put on sky's undies (the leghole is
around her tummy), her jammie shirt upside down and inside out,
mom's flip flops, and she greased her hair up real good with lotion.

we had a "ball" watching boston get into baseball this past spring.
he went to all of hayden's games and always brought his bat & ball.

an all-time fave

it never fails.....everytime gr. jeff shows up in the thing, the
kids run for a ride. he takes them up and down the neigh-
borhood and lets each one of them have a turn steering.

today while getting brighton's shirt on she said:

i couldn't tell what she was saying and after having her repeat
it several times she squatted down and pulled her shirt down
to her ankles and said, "dess".

"ohhhhh! dress! pretty dress!"

she picked out a white sundress with eyelet trim and looked
at herself in the mirror. she was very pleased.
