the last two days have brought many smiles to our family, we want to share with you (and keep a great journal at the same time)

• brighton putting cell phone to ear and talking
• brighton eyeing the suds on boston's back while bathing and finally taking a lick-she just couldn't resist
• brighton folding her arms in prayer all by herself, and bowing her head

opening day

the last opening day in the legendary yankee stadium
is being played today.....................wish we were there.

introducing.........

yea! we finally have a new car! well, another new car......
a week ago we got a white suburban (against courtney's
wishes--"it's too big") luckily, monday afternoon, it
wouldn't start. larry's towing came, we got it back wednesday,
and saturday it wouldn't start again! joe was so done with that
and we are now the proud owners of a sequoia.......and it even
has rear air...............the kids are so happy, no more red faces.

wow, look what cameron painted--tonight was his first

art show. he was chosen by his art professor to show

this. we are sure proud of him, i even got a little choked

up when i saw it. cameron won an award of merit (i made

him stand in front holding his award).............................

peek-a-boo!

i think my babies could set the world record for playing

peek-a-boo.....it is soooo cute but they never stop! don't

you love how they miss their eyes?

sky had her last meet of the season today. it's only

intersquads (so no awards) but it was fun because

it was at byu-like she was a real byu gymnast! it stilll

amazes me, the things she can do....

first steps!!!!

brighton figured out how to walk tonight.

while standing alone(without realizing it),

she looked at her feet, looked up, looked down

at her feet again and lifted her right foot and

stepped and then lifted her left foot and

stepped.....and then she was off. she could walk

as far as she wanted and she did it all night-

none of this 3 steps and fall down business. it's like

she figured out you have to move your feet and it

just clicked. she was so excited and so was boston, he was clapping for her.

power suck

brighton sucked this bottle into a mangled mess...that sucks.

good-bye landcruiser

we traded in our landcruiser for another car (kinda sad),

problem is, we aren't sure what we're trading it in for....

.....stay tuned.

easter fancy

pretty girls and handsome boys but most importantly,

a very good church meeting filled with songs and stories

of Christ. after church we had dinner at shayne's and the

kids went on another easter egg hunt, this time the eggs

were filled with money!

it was perfect weather for a perfect easter. happy easter everyone.

and they found it!

ski utah!!!!

we finally went skiing! sky has an excellent

snowplow, hayden could definitely go skiing

on his own-he doesn't need mom and dad,

and sailor was the blur going down the

mountain with mom yelling behind her "turn!".

sailor was also the one jumping off the ski lift

just before unloading time and being dragged

on her stomach under the chairlift!

fun! fun! fun!

birthday party for hayden

hayden had his friend party at progressive power tumbling.
we had a bunch of sweaty 12 year old boys. mmmmmmmm

6 more weeks of helmet

we went to see dr. schmelzer yesterday--he told us six more

weeks of helmet. can we make it?

ellery, i have so outdone you

ok, so you may have your john mayer picture-of-the-week,
but i am out posting you like crazy.

molar time!

boston cut his first molar................he's very happy about that.

why cook?

after two hours of making cathy's famous homemade meatballs,
all we are left with is a messy kitchen, not-so-famous meatballs,
and a grumpy mom. can anyone explain why we shouldn't just
get spaghetti factory take-out? it would give us an extra 1 and
1/2 hours, a clean kitchen and a happy mom! sounds good to me!
oh, not to mention bread, salad and yummy spumoni ice cream.

we love our jammies!

we love these babygap jammies so much the babies have

worn holes in the tops of the feet from crawling. thanks

alison, (whose kids always have the best pajamas) she's the

pajama expert and queen, for giving us these cutest jammies.

don't you just love a great pair of pajamas? maybe next time

courtney will pose in her gray sweat p.j.'s---they have holes

too from wearing them night after night-joe just loves them!

candles at his joint b-day party with hayden.

the kids wore their david archuleta t-shirts to school
today. we can't wait to hear him tonight. we're also
voting for brooke white (courtney's fave). we wish we
had brooke t-shirts............ for sure they'd be cute cuz'
all of her clothes are ssssooooooooooooooooooo cute!

we just want to give a shout out to grandpa bob!
today is his birthday............happy birthday!!!!!!!
wish we were there eating ice cream & cake with
you, (wouldn't mind a little kc bbq either!)

like a movie star

we rented the school marquee for hayden's birthday
and at lunch all the kids in the lunchroom sang
happy birthday to hayden.
he said "i felt like a movie star"!
i guess everyone should feel like a star on their birthday.

hayden & skylar are both on their school's knowledge bowl team.
sky had her competition today and won 3 out of 4 matches!
