dinosaurs!

boston's new obsession is dinosaurs. so naturally, we went to the
largest dinosaur museum in north america! he was one happy boy!

welcome home taryn!

what an amazingly fun experience to welcome a missionary home!
.............such anticipation & excitement, i could do that every day!


a lot of missionaries were coming home....we got lost in the sea
of families. we watched as each missionary met their families
until we were the only ones left. we waited and waited........


instead of taryn coming down the escalator, she surprised us
from behind! her plane ended up going to a different terminal
so nobody was there when she got off the plane. she had to walk
all the way to this terminal to find us...here's my first glance of her


of course, she couldn't believe how big the kids have grown...

these really were tears of joy!....................................................

cade's as tall as her! about the teenage boys, she said:

"when i left, your were boys, now you're men!"

disneyland!

jake & chandler were at disneyland for the 1st time! it's so fun
going with people for their first time and seeing their reaction!

the first thing we saw when we came around the corner was
mickey marching with his band! that was enough for the
twins, we could have turned around and gone home!


next we saw goofy! i love boston's smiley eyes!

of course, the dumbo ride is a must! the ride is a mile long, full

of kids and then we see............two grandpas riding together:)

along with his friend that did not grow a fuzzy tail.

i made chandler hop in. you have to go on casey jr at least once

the big kids and dad's went over to california adventure so

we stayed behind and played some more. sailor being a sailor!
