blogging doesn't happen when coco is sick............time to catch up!



with a family of gymnasts, this (ppt) is one of our favorite places.
we usually rent it a couple of times a year and have a blast! this
"wheel" is always full of kids, notice wyatt in the first picture,
laughing and then hanging upside down in the second picture!

sky thrilled us by doing some 1 1/2 twisting layout front flips.

(which is very rare.................. she will never show off for us but

she missed not having gymastics over the break and was eager

to practice) wish we had a picture of whitney doing her round-off

back handspring...................only 4 1/2 months after a c-section!

o, Christmas tree!

ain't she a beaut? okay, so it's kinda hard to see but once
again joe found a great tree!---after having the tree fly off
the car onto the highway last year, (because the twine got
rubbed 'til it broke so we took the shoe laces out of our
boots to tie the tree down!) we actually forgot rope this
year so mike brought all he could find--an extension cord!
we made it home without having to unlace our boots!

no, hayden's tounge did not get stuck to his braces

...............................................but it was mighty cold.

the girls found the perfect tree for

their bedroom and they are proud of it!

the twins hung out in the car with sick mom the

whole time. jared & whitney finally rescued them!

wade's a nice dad......he let the boys biz behind the car....

it was fun watching cole get bounced and thrown around.

h.o.t.y.

joe should get the husband of the year award.......with coco sick,
he left the thanksgiving ping pong early, got up at 4;15 am to
brave the black friday crowds.....hitting 4 stores in 4 hours and
getting everything on our list (he's good), safely drove the fam
through icy mountains to find and cut down a Christmas tree,
and then hung out with a gazillion kids at progressive power
tumbling....................................................all within 24 hours.

thanksgiving

the only pics we have of turkey day are these......boston &
brighton were the centerpieces for the table! j/k but they
were the center of the table while the girls went through
all the ads for black friday ..............planning our strategy!
wouldn't you know it? joe got some kind of game going with all
the kids.......................................and no, he doesn't let them win.

shhhh.....

you know your babies are tired when they fall asleep on the couch
with the whole family playing and making noise around them....
we tried laying boston down but each time we tried he would sit
up. they slept like this for hours.
this should have been mom & dad.

meet click

2 weeks ago skylar went to activity days (church activity) and
came home with this.....

we haven't introduced click yet because it's taken mom and dad
this long to admit it's (he/she?) here to stay...........................

how does a kid bring home a pet without permission?
click has pee'd and poo'd all over the girls room (we don't even
have a cage for it) and we are still keeping it...........................
(the poo is easy to clean up but what do you do with a pee'd on
cushion? throw it out?)

brighton kissing the bunny.......this is as close as her little lips got.


we're not so sure about this pet thing but when it brings so much
joy to the kids it's hard to get rid of him, and, we have to admit,
mom and dad like him too.

and the winner is...

sailor won the reflections art contest for 3,4,5 grades today in
the category of three-dimensional art! she will now go on to
the district competition!

she worked many hours on her bugs and branches and it payed
off. here are a few close-ups......unfortunately we don't have
any pics of the entire project but we'll get some next week.
aren't they cute?! it's the only time a spider will look cute.

it's in the blood...

today while driving in the car with the radio turned waaaaay
down, skylar said, "mom, bruce is on!" the radio got turned
up and sure enough, bruce was on........sky was asked how she
knew and she said her heart started pounding and she just
knew........atta girl sky, (she just may be our favorite child!)

speaking of bruce, he sent us this e-mail today:

our friend, todd pedersen, turned 40 over the weekend and his
wife threw him a smashing party. she rented a theater in slc
and she also rented this for the day:

don't you think we look good together? i'll turn 40 one day too
(hint, hint)!

every detail was covered.......these posters were in the glass
frames outside of the theater. ...........(btw, it's a lamborghini).

it's started...

brighton is already dressing and undressing herself.......she is
such a girl. independent and into clothing herself. how can it
be that she is old enough to know how to do that? she's been
doing it for a few weeks now and she does it everywhere and
all the time. she loves getting in the laundry and draping her-
self or we will be in target and she will take her clothes off. help!

cole turned 15 today and this picture says it all.....cole is one

cool dude (he'll die when he sees this picture of him but we

couldn't resist, isn't it great?!)...................happy day, cole.

happy birthday whitney!!!

to our babies other mom: happy birthday! not everyone could be
trusted with preemie twins, but whitney is a natural. now she
has a cute baby of her own to hold, kiss, hold, hold some more...
happy day, whit!

artist in training

you know your baby isn't a baby anymore when she can color!
(so sad) brighton asks for paper and crayons and will sit in her
high chair and color......our walls are now covered in her art
work (no, not coloring on the walls, yet, her artwork has been
taped all over the walls) this is her new favorite thing to do.

first fight

brighton decided to grab hold of boston's face because she was
mad about something.........he now has a nice scab across his
cheek. (she has already learned how to get mad and she screams
at the top of her voice which is very fun to ignore because she
can't figure out why she's not getting attention for screaming so
naughty.) there's a good chance this little boy will be like his big
brother and not be a fighter.....he's in for a lot of scabs!

indoor soccer

sailor had her first indoor soccer game saturday! she is
so happy to finally be playing hard, competitive soccer.
and...she is on a team with paige, what could be better?!
they won 9-2! way to go storm!

time-out

do you think this could be our new time-out spot?

yes, we do need a time-out spot for our 1 year olds,

particularly one of them....can you guess which one?

happy birthday morgan!

morgan, the son every mother would love to have.......especially
when he sings happy birthday! if you haven't heard morgan
sing happy birthday, you need to. hopefully he'll sing to himself
tonight.........................................................happy day, morgan!

out of order

our computer has been invaded by a bug and we cannot get
on-line. could anything be more annoying? be back tomorrow
hopefully!

kimberli, the nice sister, has a birthday today! we hope it's
a good one. this is the only pic we have of kim but hey, anyone
with legs like that, that can run forever, oughta be proud.
