someone got ahold of my camera and had their very own

birthday dinner

for the twins birthday dinner, we once again took them to the
hospital cafeteria! strange, i know, but this is where our family
ate every weekend (when the big kids could come visit) for two
months.......................................................so now it's tradition!
at least until the twins are old enough to insist on something else.


footlong corndogs are a favorite-good thing it's only once a year


3 years ago life flight took these two down this hallway to the
elevator to be taken up to the NICU...their home for 2 months.
at that time they were clinging to life with too many tubes
hooked up to them to count. santa came to visit them that night.
i came two days later and cried. no tears tonight though!

gingerbread(graham cracker) houses

the twins were in heaven while making gingerbread houses.
they loaded their roofs with candy but i think more candy
actually made it in their mouths.............can't blame them!

an early birthday present

last week, brighton was found wearing the princess shoes
that were wrapped for her birthday. later that day we
found the opened, wrapping paper-torn-off-box hidden
behind the couch..........................like we'd never know!

tractin' in a winter wonderland

the boys sang a version of walking in a winter wonderland.
it was about missionaries and it was so cute and funny.
it may have to be a new tradition........................................

brighton was really enjoying sticking her candy cane up her nose.
.............so far up there, i think she may have done brain damage.


because next she would suck on it! over and over and over.

for skylar's 12th birthday, instead of getting presents from
friends, she had them donate a toy. this week we took the
toys down to the united way to be taken to the abused
children's center. i'll admit, it took some talking into but
i think you can tell from this picture, she's glad she did it!

1. i am finally caught up on our blog!!!

2. boston's not having surgery today!!!

stuck

last weekend we spent the night at a cabin up past sundance.
the snow was glorious, joe shoveled a path to the hottub only
to find it wasn't quite hot enough to get in..............................

and then the fun began! we left to go to hayden's basketball
game in heber but didn't get too far. we tried & tried & tried!

two hours after we started out we finally got to the road only
to be stopped at sundance because of a closed canyon..........
no complaints, the tortilla soup at sundance hit the spot!
we finally got home 3 1/2 hours later. no basketball game.

uncle fun strikes again! the twins couldn't get enough of christian
spinning them 'til they couldn't stand up straight. make me sick!
