family bike ride

this is the quadracycle we rode all around the resort. it fit us
perfectly and was sooooo much fun! it has two sets of pedals
and two steering wheels-now the kids want one for Christmas!

croquet day

while joe was away at his conference,
we all played croquet at the resort.

notice brighton pushing boston along.......always in charge.

this is a shot of my ball (red) and hayden's ball (the black little

spot you see in the background) after he tried to knock mine

out of winning position....................he tried a little too hard and

his ball went flying. leaving him no hope of winning! (hee hee)

hayden didn't like this too much and stomped off back to our

room.................the good news is hayden's competitiveness finally

came out, the bad news: it was on the croquet court.............

boston finally gave up on croquet and

settled on his most favorite thing: soccer!

we saw this liscence plate in cali--it has joe's initials and then
Q T........................................joe wants to get it on his car now!
last year in cali we saw a plate that said magYfam. weird...
what are the chances? i wonder what we'll see next time....

hose 'em down

every beach day needs a shower to get rid of sand.
this shower lasted about a 1/2 hour and was very loud!

just glad to be at the beach

it took 10 minutes to convince the twins it was okay to put their
feet in the sand and another 10 minutes to get them to get their
feet wet and another 10 minutes to get used to the water............
but after all that, we had a fun day at the beach, mostly spent
running from the cold water in the somewhat warm sunshine!

hotel beds

jumping on hotel beds is always the greatest.
bos and bright quickly found that out................

they did this for about 1/2 hour.......................

they'd stand at the foot of the bed and fall back!

paradise point

exploring the resort in san diego was first on our list.
there were a lot of exciting things to see and discover...

ahhhh, the joy of wind in your hair!

on our way to cali......

last month we took a little trip to so. cal.

we were going to drive straight to the beach but

1/2 way there i realized i forgot my swimsuit! so,

we made a quick stop at target to buy the cheapest

swimsuit i could find.............and that's when we realized

we left boston's shoes at mark urish's house in vegas!

luckily brighton had a couple of pairs---boston looked

so cute in bright's pink/white polka dot shoes! don'tcha think?

brighton's first haircut

brighton got a little trim about a month ago!

she must have been pretty nervous because

every picture i took she had her hand in her mouth!

i guess i'd be pretty nervous too if i were getting a haircut by me!
