amazing imagination

sailor had to make something out of a cereal box for school........
wala: a marble run! and it actually worked really well! it was
the favorite of the class, it took a long time and a little of mom's
help to work the hot glue gun, but she designed it and everyone
loved it. it was played with for weeks and now it's in the trash.
shhhhhhhhhhhhh!............................................don't tell sailor!

christmas tree cutting!

favorite family tradition: cutting down the Christmas tree! the
kids went sledding while joe was out hunting for the perfect tree.

thanksgiving day was spent at kimberli's...........thank goodness!
the boys love to arm wrestle skylar. and the winner is..............

au revoir elder wimmer

saying goodbye is always so hard but when it's a missionary
it's also so exciting! morgan is seriously one of the best kids
a mom could want, he'll make a tremendous missionary....

one last eat-a-burger

for morgan's last dinner before leaving on his mission, he wanted
to go up to SLC to eat-a-burger.............following in the footsteps
of taryn & jordan, it must be a robert missionary tradition.......

tricks & treats

halloween. fun even with the costume malfunctions!
thankfully the twins would say trick or treat and thank
you, thankfully the kids didn't get too much candy and
thankfully i never have to make a chiquita banana lady
costume again!..........................................................

saw this for $70 bucks and thought i could make it
for much less. stayed up until 4 in the morning
because i couldn't find my sewing machine bobbin,
decided to hot glue ruffles on, ran out of hot glue,
hand sewed all but one ruffle on. seriously annoying.

sky didn't want a dress so she opted for sweats, it
kinda doesn't work, the headpiece was extrememly
heavy and hard to wear. great idea, glad it's over!

happy birthday sailor girl! you're getting so old..............

asher mouse

one day while tending asher, i was trying to get boston
excited for his halloween costume. thinking he would
love to wear it while watching mickey mouse, i tried
and tried but boston had no interest........................

exit the room and come back to find asher mesmerized
with the mickey mouse show and in boston's full mickey
mouse costume! how cute is he?!............................

dumbest name ever but pretty fun place. fall break wouldn't
be complete without a trip to thanksgiving point.................

brighton was the smallest kid around but that didn't stop

her from showing off her skills! here she is mid-cartwheel!

the quarry

for fall break we had a "staycation" and visited places around
town that we don't usually go to. after going to the quarry,
we'll definitely be going back. the kids couldn't get enough.
in fact, we went for the afternoon and then went back
later that night until 10 p.m. just me and the kids!
