other! oh, and they also do a great job of running the house-
hold, making food, tending twins, cleaning the house and holding

4th of july

the 4th was once again an exhausting but fun day. starting out
with the fun run/5k/10k way too early in the morning. freezing.


sailor in yellow-took first in her age group!


we forgot to have skylar warm up. her broken leg definitely
needed it but she limped to a 3rd place finish! yea!

1/2 birthday party

the twins have been talking about a b-day party for a while now.
knowing they can never have a b-day party on their real b-day,
we decided to throw them their first "friends" party for a 1/2
birthday party! (we used it as a bribe..............they had to go to
primary by themselves first----it worked!). whitney thought
of this cute theme, we invited 10 kids and had a blast................

we played duck, duck, goose....................................hilarious.

sang happy birthday! brighton is so shy, it just kills her to get

any attention. when we sang, she just wanted to hide behind

her hands....................we've got to get over this shyness thing.

apparently brighton can only blow up, not out. (don't ask me what

that's all about)..................skye was very willing to help her out!

and finally, the fish pond. the kids caught giant prize bags!

both twins were in heaven with all their new toys.

next birthday party: in 6 months!
