a GRAND piano

before Christmas (don't know how this post slipped by) joe's
parent's came to visit......and they cam with a special delivery!
joe's grandma's grand piano! here they are along with our
home teachers bringing it into the house. not an easy task!

the kids have enjoyed it even more than i thought they would.
now we have the sound of music throughout our house. not
any particular songs..................we don't know how to play.......
but just the sound of a piano!...............it's good enough for me!

we can't get her to take it off...

brighton wants to wear this night & day-maybe one of these days
we'll enroll her in gymnastics. i don't think we have a choice.

the best part of Christmas(part 2)

after gr. hansen's house, we gathered back at gr. pam's to call
taryn. this phone call included a few more tears but taryn
sounded great and it was so fun to talk to her. both phone
calls were about an hour & a half long...................................

ellery just got done talking to taryn, you can tell by her
red face that the phone call was a little emotional..........

while hanging out at gr. hansen's with everyone on Christmas
afternoon, i started randomly pointing the camera and taking
pics.................without looking at what i was taking a picture of.
it was fun for me, pretty annoying for everyone else! these pics

the best part of Christmas(part 1)

on Christmas day we got to talk to jordan! for some reason we all
ended up listening/talking at the same phone.................the one in
my mom's tiny office..........20+ people jammed inside with others
trailing out into the hallway........................................i tried to get
a few shots by holding the camera up above me and clicking away.

i love this picture of my dad, it was taken right when we first
started talking to him and i love how jordan said his palms had
been sweaty all day just thinking about the phone call!

oh.......the excitement!

what could be more fun than christmas morning with 5 kids?!
too bad these are the only pictures i got--too busy trying to
not drown in a sea of wrapping paper and great gifts............


another springsteen?

christmas eve was at shayne's house this year due to gr. pam
getting new wood floors that couldn't be walked on yet so
things were a bit different or should i say crazy? there
was tickle tortures, joe loved torturing cade to see if he could
last a full minute................................................miserable!

birthday party!

how could they possibly be three? whether we like it or not,
they're another year older so another birthday breakfast
pajama party was held. every year that goes by i feel more
and more bad for them that they weren't born on a different day.
they don't seem to mind.....................................................yet!


too early in the morning for birthday cake so they always
have to have birthday donuts...........................................
they did a great job of blowing out their candles this year!

with Christmas the next day, it's hard to come up with enough

they actually love them, they could work the buckle for hours!
